In my defense: yesterday was Simcoe Day, a Civic Holiday, and I made an executive decision that a man should not be expected to write about splash pad hours while everyone else is at the splash pad. So I did what any reasonable person does on a stat holiday - I disappeared. No memo. No away message. Just vanished, like a guy who says he's "going to get milk" and comes back four hours later smelling like a cologne store. I don't know what happened to me yesterday. I don't know what happened to any of us. But I'm back, I have a printer now, and I am very, very sorry.
