🚒 Georgina's fire department just got a major upgrade. The Town officially opened a new fire training facility with a live fire tower on July 7 — funded in part by $550k in provincial investment. This is the kind of infrastructure that matters for a growing community: better-trained local firefighters responding faster. It doesn't make headlines the way a new restaurant does, but it's one of the most important things a municipality can build.

🎆 September 18 is now a date on every Georgina calendar. The rescheduled Canada Day fireworks at the ROC come with a full Cultural Festival from 6–8 PM — food, DJ, cultural activities, and family programming before the fireworks at 8 PM.
